Matilda Djerf has created not only timeless forever pieces that will last decades, she’s created a world wide community in three years.

Matilda, 26, founder and creative director of Djerf Avenue has somehow created, and designed everyday pieces that are on trend but somehow will also last a long time.

Pieces that you can buy season after season - I believe you have to have some sort of art and talent for that. The world is so consumed with the latest and greatest, but when it comes to Djerf Avenue that isn’t entirely the case. I’ve noticed shirts, tops, blazer and pants from 2+ years ago are still being purchased, used, and very in high demand.

She’s also a head of her time. Very recently on September 3rd 2023, she had her first runway in New York. Featuring models of all ages, nationality’s, different dress sizes, and real “normal” everyday people. A stand out for myself was 27 year old Dayna, who was featured on the runway. She has cerebral palsy, and uses a walking frame. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen a runway so diverse, heart warming, and beautiful. I absolutely loved it.
